What changes?
When an Incognito session ends, Chrome does not retain its browsing history and site data. This helps when sharing a device.
What stays visible?
Websites, internet providers and school or workplace network administrators may still observe activity. Incognito is not anonymity.
A simple way to remember
Ask two separate questions: what remains on the device, and what others on the network can see. Use a trusted device for sensitive tasks.
