The number and variety of useful services PATHANTU provides continues to grow and so will your ability to make use of these services if you choose to register for them. If you choose not to provide the requested information, the PATHANTU may not be able to offer you some of the personalized services that depend on this type of information to function.
  • If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we ask you for information to send the invitation (such as your friend’s email address). We automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message inviting him/her to visit our site. We store this information to: send this one-time invitation, register a referral if your invitation is accepted, and track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at info@PATHANTU.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
  • When you send email or other communication to us, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
  • We may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve our customized content. Clicking on links may take you to sites outside our domain. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. What are “cookies” and how does PATHANTU use them?

In addition to the personally identifiable information that PATHANTU collects, we also collect information “anonymously” using “cookies.” Presently, “cookies” play an important role in making the Internet work, but there is much confusion among Internet users about what cookies are and how they are used. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is transferred from a web site to the hard drive of your computer so that the web site may identify you and track your activities on the web site. This unique number identifies your browser– but not you — to the PATHANTU computers whenever you visit our site. A cookie will not let a web site know any personally identifiable information about you, such as your real name and address. We are not generally interested in any one individual and does not collect personally identifiable information about any one person using cookies. The coding in the cookies lets us know that you are using a particular computer but nothing more. Since cookies are only text files, they cannot run on your computer, search your computer for other information or transmit any information to anyone. Help us remember who you are through your browser settings so that PATHANTU can offer and provide personalized services. Cookies also allow us to save passwords and preferences for you so that you will not have to re-enter them the next time you visit. The use of cookies is now an industry standard and you will find them used on most major web sites. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can reset your browser either to notify you when you have received a cookie, or to refuse to accept cookies. Some of our features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.

What organization is collecting the information?

When you register information on PATHANTU, that information is generally collected and maintained solely by the PATHANTU unless specifically stated otherwise at the point of collection. If data is collected and/or maintained by any company other than PATHANTU, we will tell you at the point of collection. If you do not want to share your information with that company, you can choose not to use that service. Please see the Section entitled “With whom does the PATHANTU share information that is collected?”. PATHANTU may conduct promotion through its website. These promotions may be sponsored or co-sponsored by third-parties. Data collected during a promotion is typically shared with the sponsor or co-sponsor. Be aware that PATHANTU sponsors and other advertisers have links on our sites that take you to other sites that may collect personally identifiable information about you. PATHANTU hopes that all third parties involved adhere to our policies regarding the privacy of our users. However, this PATHANTU Privacy Policy does not cover third party data collection practices and PATHANTU does not assume any responsibility for any actions of third parties.

With whom does the PATHANTU share the information that is collected?

In order to provide you with content and services that match your interests, PATHANTU has and will have relationships with many of the best services and content companies. Many of these services also require registration to make them function properly. Third-party relationships are “private label” relationships where a Product or Service partner provides PATHANTU with technology, services and/or content under PATHANTU branding. Whenever you provide registration information on co-branded or private label sites, that data may be shared with the partners. You should make every effort to read the individual privacy policies of the partners, and make an informed decision on your own whether or not to continue based upon these sites’ privacy practices and your own discretion. In addition to finding co-branded sites, you will find direct links on our site to sites offered by third parties. No third-party sites are covered by this Privacy Policy. If you feel that a site using a PATHANTU brand and/or logo does not follow an acceptable privacy policy, please contact the PATHANTU Coordinator by email at info@Aptitude kafunda.com If we become involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of our assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Security of Data?

If you use a feature requiring payment of a fee, we transmit your credit card data to our bank for processing. If we encounter a problem with payment, we may review the order information with you and our bank to resolve it. We do not otherwise disclose your credit card information. We do not share your email address or your personal information with third party marketers. We offer secure pages to collect sensitive information on our order form, such as credit card information. We also use administrative, physical and technical precautions to help protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of personal information stored on our system. While no computer system is completely secure, we believe the measures implemented by our Site reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved.

Storing of User Data

Currently, we plan to retain user data while an account is active and for at least three years afterward. We may alter this practice according to legal and business requirements. For example, we may lengthen the retention period for some data if needed to comply with law or voluntary codes of conduct. Unless otherwise prohibited, we may shorten the retention period for some types of data if needed to free up storage space.

Changes in privacy policy

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. Each version of this Policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date.
