AFCAT I 2018 Exam Overview:

AFCAT (I) 2018 Notification has been released on 12th December 2017. Air Force Common Admission Test is commonly termed as AFCAT. It is an entrance test for the aspirants who are looking to join Indian Air Force as commissioned Officer in Flying, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical).

This exam is conducted twice a year by Indian Air Force of India in the months of February and August. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply before the last date of application form filling that is: 23rd January 2018. AFCAT 2018 Application Form:

In the above section it is stated that the AFCAT-I is released and the aspirants can apply. The applications are invited twice a year. The application forms are now available. The release date of AFCAT-I 2018 Application Form is now out from 12th December 2018 and the last date will be 23rd January 2018. To submit AFCAT online application form, candidates have to go through two parts i.e. Registration Part and Application Form Filling at official website.

Registration:

  1. The candidate will have to visit the official website of the Indian Air Force that is www.afcat.cdac.in

  2. The applicants will now have to click on Candidates Login Button for Registration.

  3. A new window will automatically open where the candidate have to fill the registration details like name, E-mail ID, Mobile number etc. in the registration form.

  4. Fill the details like name; E-mail ID, Mobile number etc. in the registration form.

  5. On submission of registration form, a new Registration ID and Password will generate and sent to the registered e-mail ID.

  6. At the time of registration or form filling, one should keep all the documents for ready reference.

Filling up of Application Form

  1. Login to the portal using Registration ID and Password received on e-mail.

  2. Fill all the details as per instructions given therein.

  3. Candidates need to select branch, exam Centre and subject of EKT exam etc.

  4. Upload your recent passport size photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.

  5. Submit the application form at the end after checking all facts carefully and take at least one printout of the same for future reference.

  1. Candidates must provide all the information carefully and correctly. If anyone found misleading the authority at any stage during examination process then the candidates may face consequences including legal action. His/her candidates may also be cancelled immediately.

AFCAT 2018 Exam Pattern:

The candidates who are willing to apply for AFCAT 2018 Exam should be fully informed with the exam pattern and syllabus. This section of article will guide the aspirants for AFCAT 2018 exam pattern. Lakhs of people will apply for this exam but only will be get the selection. The candidate has to secure marks according to the cut-off marks. AFCAT Syllabus:

The candidate should prepare according to prescribed syllabus of the AFCAT. The syllabus will cover the following topics and subjects:

  1. General Awareness-Current Affairs, Sports, Art, Culture, Environment, History, Geography, Politics, Basic Science, Civics etc.

  2. Numerical Ability- Number Series, Average, Simplification, Ratio, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Decimal Fraction, Percentage etc.

  3. Reasoning & Military Aptitude- Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability

  4. Verbal Ability in English- English Comprehension, Error Finding, Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Jumbled Sentences, Fill in the blanks, rearrangement of sentences etc.
